This stone is a piece that was left ower during the renovation of the cathedral of Rennes that was offered against picking it up. It is part of 4 stones of about 150 to 200 kg
Brother and sister were with me in the workshop. I was sculpting the boy and during the break his sister took him in her arms to warm him up. This moment of tenderness moved me to the deepest. I had to make a sculpture of it and carved it straight into the stone.
