This magnificent veiled head is the first marble I carved. It was worked entirely by hand. Carving marble is for me a journey through history. Marble itself takes millennia to forge. I have such respect for it that time takes part in creation. By working by hand, I accompany the progress step by step and all the poetry that emerges.
